What it does
When a message arrives — from WhatsApp or your web messenger, in Estonian, Arabic, English or anything else — työ translates it and routes it to the right person on your team. You read it in your own language, and the AI draft you start from is in your language too.
When you send, the reply travels back in the customer's language. And if you need help from a teammate, the work escalates to them in their language. A team where the owner reads Finnish and the cook reads Vietnamese can handle the same customer without anyone forwarding screenshots or guessing at translations.
Why it matters
For a small service business, every customer counts. When people can write to you comfortably, they ask more questions, book more often, and come back. When they have to struggle in a second language — or give up and walk away — you never even see what you lost.
It works in the other direction too. Many of Finland's best cafés, restaurants and shops are run by people whose strongest language isn't Finnish. With työ, you can serve Finnish-speaking customers confidently in polished Finnish, while reading and replying in the language you think in.
How it works
työ detects the language of every incoming message and keeps track of it for the whole conversation. The message is routed to the right team member, and each member has their own working language — so the same request can be read in Finnish by one person and in English by another.
Translation happens around the human, never instead of one. The AI draft is grounded in your business's own knowledge, and a person always reviews and sends. If a translated phrase looks off, you edit it before it goes anywhere — every outbound message carries a human sign-off.
